WELCOME OUR NEWEST RESCUE - RUBY
We found her in the bushes digging for food near the South Dock area. She is severely malnourished but will do fine with tender loving care.
She’s about 1 yr old and appears to have carried puppies at one point in her life.
Ruby is a very nervous girl right now, understandably so, since the only human contact she has had is usually someone throwing rocks or trying to kick her.
She will soon learn that she is loved and cared for and will live happily ever after in a wonderful home.
After her rehabilitation, we will let you know how she is doing with new pictures
This is Charlie ... He crossed the Rainbow Bridge today Friday April, 20th, 2012
God Loves You !

Charlie was found struggling for his life after being hit by a car, and left to
die, cars speeding past him. He was struggling to get himself out of the
road when we found him, he was unable to walk. The x-rays show that
Charlie's spine was broken, close to his tail, and we were hoping and praying
that it was only the use of his tail that he would no longer have, and that
the break was not high enough on the spine to affect the use of his legs,
hips and bowels. Charlie is a sweet, gentle soul who spent the first year of his life living
out of garbage cans to survive. Now, for the first time in his life, he is
feeling loved, being care for and fed from a gentle hand that loves him.
Our wonderful little Charlie crossed the Rainbow Bridge this morning at around 8:30 am. He was only here with us on this earth for a very short time, but will forever remain in our hearts and family. Thank you all for your prayers for Charlie.
Love,
Jack & Diane and Kids
We love you and miss you Charlie. Run and play with the angels now!
EMERGENCY RESCUE
Christmas week we were called to North West Point for an emergency rescue of a cute little stray.
She was bloody and weak from an apparent attack by a machete wielding mean person. Such attacks are not new to our island and unfortunately, we have no idea of who the attacker was.
This poor little 1 yr old female climbed two flights of stairs to find a human who might help her. (we suppose she heard the humans talking and saw their lights on). For a stray to seek out humans for help is a rare thing – she must be very smart. We named her “Holly” for Christmas. She is doing well with recoverving from such a nasty cut. A special thank you to the kind people who cared and took Holly in until we could get to her.
HOLLY HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND FOUND HER FOREVER HOME !!! Thank you Randy.

Story on JAG in the Gloucester County (New Jersey) Times
We are dedicated to caring for feral and stray dogs in the Turks & Caicos Islands. We believe that every animal, just as every person, deserves a life of happiness, respect and love, and we work to ensure just that for each of these wonderful creatures. In addition to finding forever homes, we are also working with the British government and private donors to build the JAG Alliance Animal Sanctuary, including state of the art medical facilities, a spay and neuter clinic, a training facility, housing for all the animals, a pool and a park where animals can safely run and play.
Donate to JAG Alliance today and you will make a difference.
It only takes one person to change the world. Let’s do it together!
The dogs of the Turks & Caicos Islands are smart! Our Faith even drives the car...
